PART-TIME HOTEL LNR (Local Negotiated Rate) SHOPPERS (Seasonal - Work from Home Job)

LNR assignments are an Intelligence gathering report where the shopper uses online codes (when available) and/or calls multiple hotel reservation departments to obtain corporate negotiated pricing.
Teleprospectors LNR Shopper Expectations:

  • Set up a Gmail account
  • Check email frequently and respond within 12 hours
  • Meet assignment deadlines
  • Maintain professional communication and courtesy
  • Spread out calls over the total days and various shifts for each assignment
  • Take written notes while making calls and keep for 90 days.
  • Pay close attention to detail as all inputted information should be client ready
  • Follow the data entry instructions provided in the training manual
  • Notify HSI at least 2 weeks prior to vacation/time off
PART-TIME HOTEL SALES AND CATERING TESTERS (Work from Home Job)

Hospitality Softnet is a national hotel training firm, with 28 years of experience, seeking “part-time” Testers for Hotel Sales & Catering departments.

The key requirements for the role:

HOTEL SALES OR HOTEL CATERING SALES background & familiarity with the SALES PROCESS

  • Background & familiarity with the hotel sales process
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Reliable; able to meet daily and weekly deadlines and respond to all calls and messages within 24 hours
  • Able to adhere to and maintain high quality and professional standards, verbally and written
  • Exceptional writing and proofing skills
  • Excellent knowledge of computers (MS Word, Windows and Email)
  • Home office with a quiet work environment
  • Office set up to include Windows-based computer with MS Word, internet access and telephone for outgoing calls only. (Can use a cell or land line).
  • Regular and reliable daily access to internet and email
  • Bi-Lingual in English/Spanish is a plus!

The testing process involves contacting Hotel Sales and Hotel Catering Sales managers from a home office via telephone, followed by a written report, which evaluates the manager’s selling skills. All work is submitted via email.

We supply initial training and ongoing resources to ensure success.

Testers work on a part-time, but consistent year round basis, while still allowing flexibility with their schedule –allowing them to continue to use their industry skills!

We currently have part-time openings in our Teleprospecting Department.

  • Teleprospectors contact businesses on behalf of hotels to inquire about guest room and meeting room needs.
  • The information is recorded on a software program that we provide and the leads are sent to the hotels for follow-up.
  • Teleprospectors need to feel comfortable with “cold calls,” be skilled at getting through the gatekeeper and have access to a quiet home office environment for blocks of time during weekday business hours.
  • A hotel sales background is preferred
  • Office set up to include Windows-based computer, high speed internet access and telephone. (Can use a cell or land line).
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English is a PLUS!

The key requirements for the role:
HOTEL RESERVATIONS background & familiarity with the sales process preferred

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Reliable; able to meet daily and weekly deadlines and respond to all calls and messages within 24 hours
  • Able to adhere to and maintain high quality and professional standards, verbally and written
  • Exceptional writing and proofing skills
  • Excellent knowledge of computers (MS Word, Windows and Email)
  • Home office with a quiet work environment
  • Office set up to include Windows-based computer with MS Word, internet access and telephone for outgoing calls only. (Can use a cell or land line).
  • Regular and reliable daily access to internet and email
  • Although calls may be assigned across all shifts – day, evening and audit -you have the flexibility to work on days that are convenient for you
    needs.
